Ground Installation
In the European market, light poles are secured to the ground with a steel base which must meet the EN40 standard. DESCHAMPS SA steel bases meet these requirements and galvanized to ensure a longer life span. The steel bases are glued inside the poles with strips of polyester which through polymerization provide a perfect bounding between the fiberglass and the steel.

Wind Resistance
All DESCHAMPS light poles are designed to resist wind speeds higher than those in zone 5 of the French wind zone map.
Therefore, they are perfectly adapted for exposed areas such as sea shores or islands.
