The DESCHAMPS SA pole designed to support a wind turbine is the most impressive of our poles.

Solely custom-made, this pole can support a generator + a wind turbine + binding at its top with a weight of up to 90kgs.

It is sufficient for wind turbines producing up to 2Kw/hour.

These poles have the same characteristics as all the DESCHAMPS SA poles, and are particularly adapted for the wind energy for the following reasons:

  • The material used, Polyester Fiberglass, reduces vibrations produced by the movements of the horizontal or vertical blades, therefore preserving the entire system, contrarily to steel poles which transmit these vibrations.
  • The aesthetic of fiberglass is far superior to steel, making the wind turbine and its pole an object of exterior design.
  • Its low weight (compared to steel) limits CO’s emissions during transportation and installation, contributing to the ecological benefit sought after in the usage of a wind turbine.
  • Once installed, no maintenance is necessary, even near the seaside, in contrast to steel, which will lose its mechanical qualities over time, even with an intense and regular treatment.
